Do I sign a lease?

Yes. This formalizes your occupancy and services we provide and assures you of a fixed monthly rental rate for a year. Occupancy, however, is on a month to month basis.

Can I use long term care
insurance to cover the monthly rent?

The Manor is a private-pay facility. Some long term care insurance policies may cover costs for extra care services that you may need.

Where can I park my car?

There is parking for residents and guests on The Manor grounds. We also have a limited number of covered parking spaces.

Since I no longer drive, how will I be able to get to my appointments?

Our van makes regular stops at local stores throughout the week. You can also schedule the van for specific appointments.

If I need help at night,
how do I get it?

All of our apartments have emergency pull cords in every room. These automatically call to staff that is at The Manor 24 hours a day to help you.

Is The Manor locked at night?

Yes. The main doors are locked at 9 PM. All residents have keys so you can come and go as you please. There is also a call system at the main entrance for anyone coming to visit after hours.

May I have overnight guests?

Yes. But if your apartment cannot accommodate your guest, we have a furnished Guest Suite that is available for a fee which also includes meals.
